Bethenny Frankel May Not Return To RHONY Following Dennis Shield's Death

Could the show continue without it’s Queen B?

Following the sudden and tragic death of Bethenny Frankel’s on-and-off boyfriend (and possible fiance) Dennis Shields, it looks like she may not be returning to her spot on the show that made her famous.

Us Weekly is reporting, production for The Real Housewives of New York City’s eleventh season is set to begin after Labor Day but she’s yet to confirm her return just yet. Their source shared:

“Bethenny’s contract is much more complex than the other Housewives’ contracts. She’s usually late to the game when it comes to signing on but she doesn’t hold up production and she usually confirms just in time."

She’s allegedly “not thinking about work” and hasn’t given Bravo an answer about when she’ll be ready to film but in the coming weeks we’ll find out if she’s signed on for another season. The producers of the show (who are probably behind this article) are apparently very supportive of Bethenny during this time:

“It has been a tough time for her and she is just trying to mourn the loss of Dennis right now. She hasn’t thought about when she’ll be ready to get back to work yet. They are giving her space to grieve and letting her make the decision of when the right time is for her to return.”

As much as Bethenny pretends she doesn’t like filming the show, we all know she loves to push her Skinnygirl through it and remain relevant, that’s not shade, it’s the same for EVERY reality star. Although she’s not gelling with most of the other women, Dennis’ death may bridge that gap because I don’t see the sense in Bethenny not returning after she made it CLEAR Carole Radziwill was fired.
