How Kenya Moore Is Coping Following Her Divorce
Life is twirling on for Keyonce.
Following her shocking split from her husband Marc Daly only days after she declared he was the love of her life on The Tamron Hall Show, sources are now explaining how Kenya Moore is dealing with her surprise divorce.
According to Hollywood Life, insiders told them Kenya “is hanging in there." Although her divorce is sad news, considering it happened in the middle of filming season 12 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (*wink wink*), the new mother is apparently focusing on continuing to shoot the show and taking care of her daughter. The sources explained:
“She’s doing the absolute best that she can and is focused on Brooklyn right now. She looks amazing and is focusing on herself and her baby right now. Kenya is still busy filming RHOA through October. The ladies are leaving for their cast trip this Sunday and Kenya will be there."
This split makes zero sense and there are only TWO answers as to why it happened. Either Marc is sick of the cameras, or their breakup was conveniently timed to happen in the middle of the season. They both had TIME to give advance statements to PEOPLE MAGAZINE about the split, so it's definitely been in the works for a while now.
How can she declare that he's the love of her life at the start of the week and be releasing her divorce announcement by the end? Something is fishy. In her statement to PEOPLE, Kenya explained her only concern is caring for her daughter during the difficult time:
“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”
Marc on the other hand, only seemed to care about everyone staying out of the couple's business, which only adds to my theory they divorced because he didn't like living a public life. Marc got Kenya fired for not appearing on the show after their secret wedding in season 10, so thankfully (for us) she chose divorce in season 12. Marc's statement reads:
“I have come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time. Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible. I cherish our family’s good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way. Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits. Please respect our privacy during this challenging period.”
