Lisa Vanderpump’s Dog Foundation Sued For Sexual Harassment
LVP may be passionate about dogs, but I'm guessing she's not crazy about multiple lawsuits.
Ever since Lisa Vanderpump opened her dog foundation Vanderpump Dogs it has had more drama than a Bravo reality show. Along with the business being at the center of the Puppy Gate drama on last season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and a former employee suing LVP for wrongful termination, another disgruntled employee is also taking legal action against the dog shelter for sexual harassment.
The details of this sexual harassment lawsuit are pretty disgusting so let's break down the latest fuckery to come out of Lisa's troublesome business.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online (is anyone surprised?) Damiana Guzman, who worked for Vanderpump Dogs for two months over last summer is suing the business for "unlawful harassment based on sex, gender, and sexual orientation,” as well as “wrongful termination in violation of public policy by way of constructive discharge."
Damiana claims she was forced to quit the job after her manager, Martin Duarte constantly called her a "skinny no-ass fool" and a "flat-ass bitch" along with saying he doesn't understand how Damiana's girlfriend could be with her because she has no ass. Ummm? What's up with this ass obsession?
It gets worse. The plaintiff is also alleging the same manager told her that he could turn her straight and that she had just not found the right man yet. The asshole in question, also apparently told Damiana he turned the mother of his child straight. The documents state not ONE day went by where Martin didn't make comments about her body or her sexual orientation.
This is definitely not a good look for LVP's very pro LGBT agenda... It's really gross to think things like this are still happening in 2020, especially in such a seemingly progressive work space.
The plaintiff claims she complained about his behavior to higher-ups, who failed to take any action against him, which resulted in Damiana having no choice but to resign from her job. Can you imagine going to work and having to deal with this shit day in and day out?
Vanderpump always portrays on TV that she's so hands-on with her businesses and workers, so if that's true she has a lot to answer for in this case...
LVP's former employee also says she’s “suffered economic loss, humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional distress,” as a result of the alleged harassment and is suing for unspecified damages. Let's hope Damiana takes these cunts to the cleaners.
This news is fucking disgusting and it may be the final nail in the coffin that is the potential Vanderpump Dogs spinoff. Nobody wants or needs that show so we can only Bravo pray that this latest lawsuit stops Bravo from allowing it to happen.
