The Real Housewives Of New York City Season 12 Trailer Is A Fucking Mess
What did I just watch?
I have no doubt The Real Housewives of New York City can survive in a post-Bethenny Frankel world, and this trailer is living proof of that. Let's start off with a positive. The Season 12 cast photo is absolutely stunning and one of the best in Housewives history, so congrats ladies, you did THAT.
As we all know by now, Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer are joined by newcomer Leah McSweeney for another round of fuckery otherwise known as Housewives.
I'm into Leah, she seems like a younger, edgier Heather Thomson who says it like it is and ruffles the old ladies' feathers, which is exactly what you want in a new Housewife. Plus, her makeout session with Tinz doesn't hurt either.
In the drama department, it seems like Dorinda is going off the fucking rails with several aggressive, drunk moments which are always so fun to watch. What would RHONY be without Dorinda Medley verbally abusing her costars through the magical art of slurring?
Along with Dorinda's drunken outbursts, nothing has really changed, which is exactly how I like it with my New York gals. Sonja's still falling off chairs and serving us hilarious one-liners, Lu is drinking again, Tinsley's back with Scott and Ramona's still Ramona.
I don't expect this to be the most groundbreaking season of Housewives ever, but it will definitely have the funny, wacky, drunk moments we're used to, mixed in with hilarious fights. I'm not that impressed with the trailer, but as long as you have these women in a room together, you know it's going to be entertaining (and sloppy) as fuck.
Oh, and Tinz goes MIA after the Coupon King proposes, which is always fun to watch.
