Tamra Judge Reveals Her RHOC Salary After Andy Cohen Told Her She'd Be Back On The Show For Seas
Now that her Bravo contract is up, the OC Housewife doesn't give one fuck.
Following Tamra Judge's exit from The Real Housewives of Orange County and the news of her ex-husband Simon Barney's cancer diagnosis, the former OC Housewife appeared on Jeff Lewis' SiriusXM radio show to talk about her life post-reality television.
During the interview, Tamra revealed the show's producers sent her flowers after they fired her and also told fans her salary for the show in the process. Tamra explained:
“I got flowers from the production company. After they took away my salary, they sent me flowers and then I sent them a group text and I said thank you very much for the flowers, it’s almost as good as $1.2 million assholes."
$1.2 million is a shit tonne of money... The CUT Fitness owner also revealed she's already been offered a job on another reality show since her exit, however, she claims Andy Cohen told her to hold off on signing anything as he wants her to return to the show for season 16. Tamra shared:
“It was a job to me and when this job ends, I never thought, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m going to get another show.’ Well, I’ve been approached [but] Andy told me to hold off on signing any kind of contract, run it past him first cause he says that I’ll be back next year."
After she shared that she may come back after this season of the show, Jeff predicted that she may only be offered half of her $1.2 million salary due to her taking a year off. This is facts, considering Kenya Moore was (allegedly) making $1.5 million during season 10 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but was only paid $500,000 when the show brought her back for season 12.
However, Tamra said she no longer needs the money as CUT Fitness and her Vena CBD business bring in enough bacon to maintain her lifestyle. She also shared she wants to start flipping houses with her husband Eddie Judge, as she misses working in real estate, which she did before she joined the Bravo reality show.
Tamra has also received a massive sum of money since she left the show after she sold her house. The couple only moved into their Coto de Caza mansion during the last season of the show, however, after her real estate friend gave her an offer she couldn't refuse, they sold the house, she explained:
“So much happened to me in one week. Our house wasn’t even on the market. My good friend Shelly Black did this to [us] last year. We were only in it one year and she’s like, ‘Hey I have somebody that wants to buy your house and they’re going to pay more than $200,000 than you just paid for it.’ And I’m like, ‘Sold!’”
To end the interview, Jeff asked Tamra her thoughts on the show's future without her, and while she claimed she thinks it will still do well with Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador holding down the fort, she laughed that the franchise won't do as well without her on it. She shared:
“I don’t know the new girl. I feel like they can make a show out of anybody. I feel like there’s a lot of new faces and I feel like the viewers are invested in people that have been on it for a long time like Shannon and Kelly’s been on it for a while too, but when there’s all these new people, they’re like I gotta get to know them. I’m sure it will do well, not as well as when I’m on it."
I can definitely see Tamra coming back after a season off because Andy clearly loves what she brings to the show, however, Vicki Gunvalson's time on Bravo is definitely done for good.
